1. Choosing

Am I the celebrant for you?
We meet for a chat (no charge, no pressure) at a time and place that suits you. We talk about your wedding plans and what I can do for you to help create your ideal wedding ceremony.

2. Booking

You decide I am the right celebrant for you. On booking me as your celebrant, I lock in the date of your wedding in my diary.

I arrange to meet with you to complete the legal form “Notice of Intention to Marry” and provide you with my Marriage Resource Kit containing vows, readings and rituals for inspiration.

3. Listening and Exploring

In order to personalise your ceremony, I need to learn about you and understand what you want in your ceremony and what you don’t want!

We will go through all ceremony options together, deciding on inclusions and exclusions, from the range of possibilities.

For bespoke weddings, I will also seek information from you via a couple’s questionnaire and meet with you face to face or virtually to ask follow up questions, so that I can weave your unique story into the ceremony.

I will encourage you and help you (if necessary) to write your vows and include these in your ceremony.

4. Ceremony Drafting

I write your ceremony and provide it to you for feedback. You will have the opportunity to ask for changes to your ceremony so that it is perfect for you.

5. Rehearsal

I recommend to all couples that we hold a rehearsal at their chosen venue, close to the time of their wedding. The rehearsal covers positions, movements, roles, rituals (including the ring ceremony), and music. Finer details of the ceremony are confirmed and legal paperwork completed.

6. Your Wedding Day

By the time your wedding day arrives, you and all ceremony participants will be well prepared, so you can relax and enjoy your day.

I will arrive well in advance of your ceremony to set up and be ready to greet you, your attendants and guests.

I will lead you through your ceremony from start to finish, doing my utmost to make it the meaningful, memorable ceremony you have set your hearts on.
